Up-Cycled Fashion
Fashion is one of my greatest passions transforming thrifted clothing utilizing hand screen-printing, block-printing, embroidery, and beadwork to create one of a kind up-cycled wearable art. T-shirts are one of the greatest forms of propaganda and subliminal messaging and using this medium of screen-printing with a long history of dissemination in addition to the form of reusing clothing which would otherwise pollute landfills I often implement political activism and environmentalism into my fashion.

Deforestation Kills Slowly
Collection
“Deforestation Kills Slowly” is an expose on the detrimental environmental impacts that fast fashion has on the global scale. From deforestation caused by Brazilian cattle farms used for leather by major companies such as H&M, Zara, and even luxury brands such as Prada, to “plant based” textiles made from wood pulp in irreplaceable endangered forests in Indonesia, Canada, and China.
Save The Bees Collection
The Save The Bees collection is a series of up-cycled screen-printed and embroidered pieces as well as biodegradable plastic pendants made into jewelry. This collection celebrates bees as the backbone of all life in the ecosystem while also recognizing the detriment of “big honey” or large scale honey producers that take money-making shortcuts endangering bee health. The bio-plastic pendants in place of resin comment on the small changes which can be made to prolong environmental health and longevity.
